On January 23rd at 10A Pastor Paul invites you to join us at Evangel Temple, in the sanctuary, for a Special Business Meeting. Although all are welcome to attend, this is a time for our church membership to participate in voting on four resolutions.

The four resolutions that we’ll be voting on are:

1: To change our constitution and bylaws to allow women to serve on the board.
2: To change the nomenclature of “deacon” and “trustee” to Board Member and to allow anyone who has a divorce in their past that occurred prior to salvation or for a Biblical reason to serve as a Board Member.
3: To change the number of board members from 9 to 11.
4: To change the name of the church from Evangel Temple Assemblies of God to Evangel Church Assemblies of God.

Absentee Ballots will be available at the Welcome Desk on 01/09. Please note, your absentee ballot will not count towards the quorum on the night of the Business Meeting so we ask that all voting members please attend if at all possible. Childcare available for Nursery thru 5th Grade.

Return ballots by 5P on Thursday, January 20th to the front office.
